With experience across Europe as well as in the USA, Marion Weiler is a visionary Business Management, Strategic Marketing Executive and Fractional CMO, whose experience in international realty is transferable to brands across industries.

Becoming part of the team to improve business management processes

Marion helps organizations of all sizes to streamline business operations and identify the best approach to improve their processes, whether that’s general improvements, crisis management or in preparation for a particular growth phase or entering new markets.

As a Fractional CMO, Marion’s compassionate as well as objective approach sees her fully integrate herself into an organization to understand its strengths, weaknesses and opportunities.  The thread running through much of her strategic work helps growing organizations to decide when and where to use centralized versus decentralized processes, while still remaining on brand.

Crucially, her people management skills enable her to inspire and create senior leadership teams that work effectively and efficiently together. Both intuitive talent for understanding people as well as the professional qualifications she has undertaken in order to recognize strengths and weaknesses in team members and leaders, allows her to structure teams informatively and positively.

Strategic business development in Europe and the USA

Having cut her teeth in Europe where her first placement saw her work as a branding consultant for IBM, Marion moved to the USA and graduated with an MBA in Marketing. Her next big step was to build up the business division at the International Code Council, a nonprofit association that provides construction safety solutions. During her tenure, newly developed programs contributed more than $2.5 million in revenue and she executed efforts based on a go-to-market strategy plan, which generated $1.5 million in revenue in the first 18 months.

She then moved to Connecticut where she was Director of Marketing at the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, a global real estate franchise owned by the Realogy Holdings Corporation – the leading and most integrated provider of residential real estate services in the USA. Here, her key challenge was to balance the centralized processes of the traditional real estate business with the local needs of the luxury markets in Connecticut and Westchester County.

Following two years as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Mainz within the School of Business, Marion then became Senior Vice President Marketing and Business Development at Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty on Long Island and Queens in New York. There she developed and executed a strategic road map that realigned the organization, its services and key stakeholders with company goals resulting in a 6% growth of the organization to $3.5 billion in sales volume.  In 2020 she settled in Florida and began providing her skills as a Fractional CMO.

Creating road maps to align or realign organizations

In each of her roles, Marion has managed critical business initiatives across organizational levels. She executed the rollout of quality lead generation programs, identified new business opportunities, developed strong organizational structures leading to corporate efficiencies and implemented strategic road maps to align or realign organizations, their services and key stakeholders with company goals for the ultimate goal of increased profitability and relevance.

Marion is also a passionate advocate for the advancement of women’s opportunities in society and in business. As a result, she is a Board member of the Women’s Resource Center in Florida, supporting women to achieve their potential in the workplace, as well as raising practical support and awareness for women in poverty and violent situations.

Fractional CMO, Marion said: “Throughout my career, my passion has been for getting deeply involved with a company and making it the best it can be in a sustainable way. I have experience doing that in both the European, international and domestic US market, and I look forward to offering value to more companies with the team at gigCMO.”

gigCMO Founder, Mark Magnacca, said: “gigCMO is at its heart an international team of battle tested business professionals who know how to drive revenue growth. Marion joins us as the U.K. and US seek to negotiate an even stronger relationship and her skills in driving business growth are even more highly sought after.”
