Business Development Consultant Susanne Pugsley joins gigCMO

With more than 20 years’ experience helping professional services organisations to grow, Business Development Consultant Susanne Pugsley has joined the team at gigCMO. She brings her expertise to firms looking to grow their pipeline of work or navigate change successfully.

With an emphasis on accountancy and legal firms, Susanne’s experience encompasses an impressive roster of leadership positions. From roles as Head of Marketing at Winckworth Sherwood LLP to Business Development Director at Howard Kennedy LLP. She has worked in firms of all sizes, from The Silver Circle to boutique firms. As a result, she has a unique understanding of the marketplace, the opportunities and the challenges it presents across the spectrum.

Since 2017, Susanne has worked as an independent consultant. In this she brings her targeted talent for helping firms to manage change either pre or post merger. She reinvigorates businesses, builds a sustainable pipeline of work, joins firms on an interim basis, troubleshoots, strategises and manages on a consultancy basis.

With an eye for problem solving and superb skills in people management, both no doubt honed by her 15 years in the Territorial Army, Susanne’s other great passion is mentoring. In particular, she discreetly and sympathetically supports those at senior management and Board level to hone and develop skills that keep them at the forefront of their careers in a changing market. For many, that means developing new capabilities in generating a pipeline of relevant and profitable work, as well as establishing a firm’s brand to suit a contemporary market.
